API & webhooks
Developers
Send documents for signature from your product. Authenticate with an API key. Receive events on a webhook. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.
How integration works
-
1. Choose Business or Enterprise
API keys and webhooks are included on those plans.
-
2. Create an API key
In your workspace: Settings → API. Keys start with
ixk_. -
3. Call the REST API
Upload, place fields, send for signature. Recipients sign via a link; no YoDocu account needed.
-
4. Listen with webhooks
Events such as
document.sentanddocument.completed, verified with HMAC.
Authenticate every request
Send your key in the header. Do not use session cookies from the web app.
X-Api-Key: ixk_…
Base URL: your YoDocu API host (for example https://api.yourdomain.com).
